Perth to Albany ride
The ride is coming together. We have our bus and driver organised plus 4 riders. There will be a maximum of 14 riders so if you are not on the list please contact me soon - and start training! Training rides are going to start soon too, so if you want to be included on the distribution list please let me know.
The Perth to Albany ride route is:
- Armadale to Brookton - Monday, 111k
- Brookton to Narrogin - Tuesday, 100k
- Narrogin to Wagin - Wednesday, 90k
- Wagin to Katanning - Thursday, 90k
- Katanning to Cranbrook - Friday, 90k
- Cranbrook to Albany - Saturday, 95k
Distances are still subject to confirmation as we will be taking mostly back roads and staying off the Highway as much as possible.
Ride starts off on Monday, 20 October 2008. Return from Albany (via bus & trailer) on Sunday, 26 October 2008.
Each rider is asked to raise $500 in sponsorship for B4B plus there will be a cost for food, fuel & accommodation - yet to be confirmed.
